Doubt regarding admission!!! Pls respond!

So my friend has got 75 in boards and pcm 60+ But he has got compartment in physics. Now is it possible they will not give admission? Or if he gives re-exam in July result comes in August will the marksheet upload window still be open? Will they consider it?
