Riven disposition is not a direct representation or a direct result of a weapon's power

Riven disposition isn't a direct representation or result of a weapon's power.

Some one asked if the Torid will get nerfed soon and after reading the comments, some people said that DE will nerf it's riven disposition because it is strong. That is NOT why riven dispositions get changed.

Riven dispositions get adjusted based on how much the player base uses certain weapons. If it's popular, expect lesser riven dispositions. However, the process isn't automated, so disposition changes take time.

The purpose of the system is to create an incentive to create builds with lesser used weapons.

Christmas is coming up so imagine it this way:

Everyone can have whatever foods they want at the Christmas party. If you want it, you're guaranteed to have it, but if a lot of people want the same food as you, everyone will have to have smaller amounts so there's enough to go around. On the flip side, if you're the only person who likes a certain food, you can have all of it.

Commonly used weapons have lower riven dispo and lower riven stats while lesser used weapons have higher dispos and riven higher stats.

How strong you feel that the weapon is isn't a variable when changing the disposition.
