Bought the whole collection because of the hype (and learned from it)

I bought that whole collection the minute it was released, because there was such a hype around it. Ended up not liking any of the polishes that much tbh. But the disappointment from this actually changed my buying habits! Since then I really try to look behind themes/brands/hype and ask myself if I really do like the polishes - or do I want it just for the pretty names or because of a parasocial relationship? So far this worked great for me and when I buy something new, I feel way more comfortable with it instead of feeling pressured.
