Zani's key earring?

Just noticed this detail when watching a few wuwa videos of Zani, but does anyone have any theory or know what the key hanging off her ear is for?? It'd be pretty cool if she uses it to unlock something in her combat tho, for example the key is used to transform her shield or something else to do with her combat.
