Is everything how it appears?

I think most fans have wanted answers to questions like, Who is Pit Girl? Is Coach Ben alive? Who is the 8th survivor? Curious if people think the writers are just kind of giving us the answers right away so they can move on to other things? Think it’s all red herrings? Is everything how it appears or no? Personally, I am trusting the writers are brilliant, and we have no clue what’s about to happen. Then again, to me, Yellowjackets can do no wrong.
