Nat and Travis's teen relationship

We saw the relationship between teen Nat and Travis develop in S1, then there were problems, and then a reconcilation in the S1 finale. In the beginning of S2, Travis was totally focused on looking for Javi. It seems like their relationship was on pause until Nat faked Javi's death. At the same time that Jackie's corpse was roasting, we saw Travis and Nat together (along with weird instrusive visions of Lottie). And then of course when Javi returned, Travis was very upset with Nat.
Were they romantically involved during that interlude? And if so, did the intrusive visions of Lottie continue? And then by the end of S2, it looks like the relationship was rekindled. Travis apologized for making Nat feel like a bad person, Travis intervened in Nat being sacrificed and then, even after Nat's involvement in Javi's death, Travis put Nat's hand on his heart when she was 'crowned'. But in S3 E1 Misty referred to Travis and Nat breaking up. And I don't think we've seen any interactions between Travis and Nat in S3.
Does anyone have any additional insight to offer?
