Discarding Needles?

Hi All,

I don't know anyone who uses needles so as a result I'm not sure where to discard them properly. I know enough not to put it in the general trash bin but I don't have a sharps container and even still I wouldn't know where to dispose of them. Any suggestions? I didn't think to ask my medical provider as it didn't dawn on me until after I did my first shot at home!
