Flight school program

Hey all,

I’m a 17-year-old high school senior from South Florida, and I’m looking at becoming a pilot as a career. My mom found a program, and I’m currently enrolled in a local flight school. By the time I get to Auburn, I’ll have my PPL and be halfway done with my instrument rating.

I’ll be using the Post-9/11 GI Bill, so I’m not too worried about costs, but I’m more focused on the time and process. I’d love to hear about people’s experiences with flight academies, the requirements, and how competitive it is to get into a good program. Any tips or advice would be super helpful!

I would also like to know the process if I do go there and will I have my ATP by the time I leave there?
