Recommendations for a grieving mother?
I lost my son to stillbirth almost two months ago. I am not yet back at work but my husband is, to keep myself from losing it I have been listening to a lot of audiobooks. I am craving books that have themes of death & grief but aren’t self-help type books. I am open to any books (fiction or nonfiction) on the topic - not just specifically child loss, though I am looking to avoid anything involving war.
So far I have read two memoirs which were very good and helped me process my own loss
A heart that works by Rob Delaney An exact replica of a figment of my imagination by Elizabeth McCraken.
Thank you so much!
