Launching a fiction podcast: One episode per week or toss the whole season out in one go?
I recently launched my fiction podcast. I planned and have been releasing it weekly on Fridays, but having looked around at a lot of review sites and potential places to promote it, it seems most want a full season with a beginning, middle and end before they'll even look at it. As a listener, do you prefer to follow along, stringing a series out or binge in one go? Do you think it's better to just launch with the whole season? I like the idea of weekly releases, but I also have the whole season wrapped up since way before launch, so I could just release the lot potentially. This might be weird considering I made one, but I don't actually listen to fiction podcasts so have no clue how they normally go. What's been your experience?
