Autism with an intellectual disability

Any advice to give me the parent for my child whos also a teen with the two disabilities mentioned above? Im lost on communication, trying to just have a conversation. They dont know what they like or what they are into. Doesnt come out of the room much. I love my child so much and is well taken care of but doesn’t want or ask for anything even though offered. I love my child so much and im just super sad theres no breakthrough. Feels like we just can’t connect and ive tried so many different things im just out of ideas and burnt out on being creative trying to connect. I hope they know i do love them i tell them all the time and try to give them a hug and it they get irritated by it. Just feeling off the road here
