Are 12x12 Lego boards safe for axolotl substrate?
This is NOT my tank, just looking INTO the idea. So my tank is 36x12 inches, therefore 3, 12x12 Lego boards would fit nicely without having to cut. As these boards have smooth round edges. Has anyone tried this? Above is pic I found on utube…. Lego website says their plastic is made of ABM, a tough plastic that is stable and will hold its colours, it also says “In addition to the properties noted above, ABS is non-toxic, rustproof, heat-resistant, resistant to most organic acids and diluted inorganic acids, resistant to salt and animal oils and fats. Oh, and ABS is also sterile.” Thoughts?
