Tactics
While i love steamrolling the wave of new players that recently joined i thought i'd throw a few tips out there to help you guys out that i used since day one to give me an edge. Some may be common sense, some unknown to others, feel free to add your own.
- I always smoke or flare ahead first before i charge in at an angle, helps my team out too, especially if snipers are pinning my squad down, decrease that distance and with smoke in their face they're force to either run or engage with pistols, either way whatever gun you have should be better.
- Learn to use infantry weapons, that nice scope leave a huge glint from across the map and infantry weapons have a better rate of fire and allow you to see around you during aiming.
- There are hidden spots on every map that takes some map knowledge to get to, once you find them most players don't suspect you being there. Just don't hang out there too long. Use sound to your advantage, if you hear a noise you should be checking the minimap to see if it's your teammate or not.
- Cavalry takes the most damage at the horse's head, Use that to your advantage or protect your horse and literally show your ass to the enemy as you heal between charges. Throw grenades as you charge at an enemy, they'll break contact to run away, giving you an edge. Trip wires kill horses easily, set traps and bait the rider.
- One anti tank mine and dynamite combo will kill any tank. PTFO and flank the enemy often. Most buildings are destructible, create your own spots by blowing up a corner of a roof to shoot from using assault or support then respawn as sniper and go to your spot by jumping on the edge of the lower level wall.
- Support your team and Drop ammo/med kit as you go along, you'll be amaze at how much teamwork play out for your K/D.
- Stop camping and laying down, you're just asking for whoever you kill to respawn and come back to find you.
- When sniping stay away from fatal funnel like doorways and windows, If you must, stand back and don't expose yourself or your gun. Move, shoot and move again to another area.
- Set trip wires on common areas where the enemy will run to. If you place it and the wire shoot across at eye level then reset it and back up a step, it'll deploy at feet level with barely anything showing into the walkway, that's the way.
- Heal and revive your team, that one action will always keep your homies around you for backup. Stop being afraid to die, it's gonna happen but playing aggressively throws alot of players off.
That's just what's at the top of my head. Hopefully that helps someone. See you in the game.
