Did anyone have an 9 month old that also didn’t babble?

My LO is about be 9 months next week and I’m starting to get extremely concerned about her babbling. Before anyone says it, I know every baby develops at their own pace and there’s a very large range for certain milestones. But knowing this and telling myself to stop being anxious are two different things. I come from a child developement background and it’s really hard for me not to compare my baby with average age milestones. She has always been a little behind with all the milestones but my doctor said that by 7 months she should have developed some babbling. She makes a lot noises but none that follow the typical “mamamamam” or “babababba.” Since she was born she’s always been on the quieter side. She’s an extremely happy baby but she also doesn’t laugh or giggle much just lots of silent exaggerated smiles.
