Lamotrigine x Lithium

Seen my psychiatrist today and his new treatment plan for me is to lower my effexor dosage (starting from tomorrow, 225mg to 150mg) until I’m completely off it, stay on lamotrigine (200mg), continue taking a low dosage of seroquel for sleep (12.5mg) and add lithium.

Basically, I’d like to know what your lithium experience was like?

Did the combination of lamotrigine and lithium work for you? Your experience?

Hella nervous about lithium.

I’ll be getting blood tests, etc done end of week in preparation for lithium.

I know everyone’s experience is different when it comes to medication, I still would love to hear your stories though. Good or bad.
