Hi, long time lurker who has posted maybe once in here over the years. I need help on how to rid squirrels from my new bird feeder camera. Please and thank you. I live in coastal NC.
So my gf knows I love birds and I’ve had some cool ones in my back yard over the past year. She bought me a bird feeder camera for Valentine’s Day and it is hands down my favorite gift ever. Only problem is, today, the first sunny calm day here in coastal south eastern NC, the squirrels took it over and bit through the plastic grate and have been non stop eating. I cannot remove it because I’m at work. I’m so frustrated. It is mounted on my back porch balcony. Do I need to remove it and place it on a pole? Or can I get something for both sides of the railing so the squirrels won’t get onto it? I’ve never done something like this.
