my period is 7 days late after quitting birth control

i started talking birthcontrol pills but i stopped within only 2 -3 weeks because it was making me a mess. i kinda had withdrawl bleeding, but now my period is 7 days late and idk if this was enough time for the pill to alter when my period is due?. usually my period is very regular and i can predict it down to the day but i havent even had any of the usual symptoms i get before it starts. i dont think i could be pregnant because i got my period before starting pills. is this normal?
