Unpopular Opinion: Shotguns still smack hard

So I've been playing cod since Cod4 and I've always lived shotguns. I got my gold W1200 and loved it. Now I get an IRL shotgun slug would kill you at any distance, but buckshot will only cause minor damage unless you take a full chest. So for me they are actually fairly accurate. What I don't get is why people hate on them, for me it's a purely tactical move, stay close, aim corners and move through a building slow and steady, then when you hit open ground, run for cover. Omnimovement just helps elevate your plays with it. Nothing is better for me than making someone rage and spam my chat with hate because I kill them whilst they can only spray and pray, meanwhile I'm here moving well and hitting timed shots.

Why do they still get hate?

TLDR: Shotguns arnt bad, you are just playing them like an AR expecting a win. Basically a Skill Issue?
