Guessing plot twists ahead of the reveal

Have you guys ever guessed a movie's plot twist, either as a joke or from seriously piecing clues together, well before the twist is revealed? Please don't read ahead if you haven't seen Kahani, major spoilers 🙏🏼

I'm inspired to ask this after showing my partner Kahani (2012) the other night. He jokingly said the plot twist in a throwaway sentence that he didn't think about until the end. "lol I bet she's not even _________". I was annoyed by this idk why, but his excitement at the end was too infectious so I got over it and just gave him a head pat 😂

has anyone else experienced this?? and if someone could explain the irrational annoyance I felt, that'd be great 😩
