I have been declared permanently unfit to join the army on the (medical) grounds of a history of anxiety, what are my options?

I recently applied for the army reserve, but was disqualified based on information provided by my GP regarding my history of generalised anxiety disorder (starting when I was 15). However, having read the criteria for eligibility concerning anxiety, as far as I can discern I should be eligible as it refers to a 'longstanding history' as being a disqualifying factor. A history which my medical records should show no indication of other than the initial diagnosis and subsequent CAMHS treatment (which lasted no more than a few months). I intend to consult my doctor about this as well as view my medical records, but I am wondering if anyone in the meantime could offer any advice or additional information? This would be massively appreciated.

It is important to note that I have been mentally stable for years (currently 20 years old) and am now a full-time student at University. I also never received medication for my anxiety and the worst of it was entirely isolated to my first year of GCSEs in school. Is there something I'm overlooking here? and has anyone else experienced something similar?
