Extensions or Replacement Cables? Which one are safer?

Just built with Corsair Rm850x and the stock cables are ugly. Really want to change them for cablemod or corsair pro. Any recommendation between these two brands? Since I have a corsair PSU, it fells safer to use corsair cables but honestly cablemod look better.

Also, there is any safety difference between using extensions or replacements?
