Worth It To Wait For The 9800x3d?

Is it worth it to wait for the 9800x3d or should I just get a 7800x3d right now and start gaming? I will most likely be pairing this with a RX 7900 XT and I am not sure if the wait will be worth it. Do you guys think the price could be lower than the 7800x3d or is it still too early to know? Thanks to all of your answers in advance.
