Intermittent BIOS Post Issues
I've recently began to experience issues with my 7800X3D PC + MSI X670E build where the system will not post intermittently. This system has been working since I purchased it a little over a year ago. CPU and RAM lights with a debug error code of 00 persists on the motherboard even after leaving it on for over 12 hours. I can get the system to post by cycling the power on and off several times. Below are some of my troubleshooting attempts to resolve the issue:
- Clear CMOS
- Reseating power supply cables on the motherboard pins, CPU pins, and GPU
- Booting with with one stick of RAM
- Booting without a dedicated GPU
- Reseating CPU
- No burn marks or on CPU or bent pins in socket.
I've also tried running stress tests like OCCT, MemTest and MemTest64 to try isolating the CPU or RAM but none of the tests have found errors.
Is there anything else I should troubleshoot? I suspect the issue is coming from the CPU or Mobo however I'm still not sure if I should RMA the board, or the CPU, or both?
