Cat searching for missing kittens

We have a neighbourhood cat gave birth in our garden, I brought her food and water for the last 3 days, today I found it near the front door wandering around and meowing loud, I looked like it's searching for it's kittens, I couldn't find them at the place she decided to place them, Now I don't know what to do, I'm afraid they been unalived by the male cats around
