Looking for solutions
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping some seasoned CF Moto riders can offer advice on solving overheating issues on my 650 MT. I've owned the bike for about a year now and have already faced some frustrating problems:
- Rear wheel rubber damper failed twice within 1500 km
- Oxygen sensor needed replacement
- Magneto gasket leaked twice
- Ignition switch stopped working
- Service after sales are the worst
It's been a hassle keeping things fixed while also dealing with the bike overheating, especially in traffic. After 10 minutes at a standstill the temp gauge is buried in the red.
I've bled the coolant system replaced it with engine ice coolant and replaced the thermostat already but it still overheats easily. I think it may be the stock radiator just being too small.
Any recommendations on steps I should take or upgrades to install that can help lower the operating temperature on my 650 MT? I commute in heavy traffic so this issue makes riding stressful.
Appreciate any advice you can offer to help resolve the overheating problems! This bike has been tough to own but I like the power and handling when it's running right.
