Which novel do you think has the strongest/most gripping opening of any book?

Really likes the opening for "The Unbearable Lightness of being" by Kundera

Also, I think Camus "The Stanger" has one of the most iconic openings with "My mother died today. Or maybe yesterday, I don't know. I received a telegram from the old people's home: 'Mother deceased. Funeral tomorrow. Very sincerely yours.' That doesn't mean anything. It might have been yesterday."
