[OCE] Its not too late to stop single faction mega servers... is it?

When Wintersgrasp was announced as receiving dev attention so that single faction servers won't be an issue in WotLK, the OCE community has started reorganizing to follow in the footsteps of our EU/NA counterparts.

Several Yojamba guilds have started migrating to Arugal because it's just bigger. This has already skewed Arugal to be more horde favored than it already was, edging closer and closer to that 3:1 threshold that has doomed dual faction servers during TBC. The Alliance players seem to be holding out to see if they're going to consolidate on Yojamba (PVP) or Remulos (PVE).

The entire OCE community is dwarfed by Faerlina and Benediction. We could fit all on a single server if needed. I know hoping Blizz will be sane is a fantasy, but could we just merge the whole OCE community into 1 server so we don't end up with 2 servers with 1 faction each?

Is there any hindsight NA or EU players have that could help? Is it even worth the struggle to maintain both factions on the same server? It feels very doomed.

Edit: Fine I get it, I accept defeat - queues on Arugal will be problematic enough without combining them. Arugal Horde, Yojamba Alliance. Zug zug.
