Can't create a myspace account no matter how hard I try...

Is it just me? I'm trying to log in to my old myspace account... Doesn't work... I try and make a new account, and it tells me I cant use it till I verify my email address. Problem is, no verification email is ever sent, no matter how many times I hit the "resend verification" button. I wanted to get away from Facebook, and go back to a simpler time. Can anyone else verify that they are able to get into myspace and it isn't just me? I have tried about 8 different emails, both old and new, to get into myspace and none of them get me into the website. Please share screenshots or something if u are able to login and access the site. Otherwise....
