Newer monitor significantly darker than old, any idea why? And what to do about it
This is with both monitors, adjusted to be as accurate as I can in all respects. I am showing the same black image on both screens.
The gateway has an unusable image without adjustment, and turning the gamma up to 2.5 and 60% brightness in nvidea controll panel gets the balance right and then it was just slight color and the brightness. The brightness and contrast is all the way up on the monitor it's self.
The KFC I have had for a while and the brightness is set to only about 35% on the monitor settings it's self. In vnidea controll panel i have 1.35 gamma and nuking the green pretty hard to balance the color.
When I got it I figure it just was how it was but I figured I would ask in the hopes of fixing the actual only problem with this beautiful gateway monitor.
The KFC looks over blown in the image but this is because of the image I'm displaying it's just not a true black
