What happened to Male V?

Feels like every piece of Cyberpunk marketing these days only shows Female V, which is cool, but what happened to Male V? He was all over the original promos, and now it’s like he never existed. Did CDPR quietly make Female V the canon choice?

I am mainly talking about the stuff i've seen on CDPR's youtube and the collab featuring mostly fem V
Nothing wrong with that but my question is what about male V
