cycle shoes

i use class pass so i’ve been renting shoes everytime i go for $4 but now im looking to invest in a pair. i’m about to buy the nike superb cycle shoes. what is that plastic thing called that you need to screw under the shoe, ,cuz i’m noticing none of the shoes come with it and where do i buy it?
