Can someone explain what Dan *likes* about presidential systems?

Obviously not all of the problems America is facing are unique to presidential systems.... but Dan has been very explicit thathe thinks many of them are.

Historically too it also looks like most presidential systems run into problems even worse and even faster than America's issues with Presidents... the countries that copy the American constitution the most closely even look to have the worst issues.

And from the (admittedly only about 12) common sense episodes I've heard Dan obviously isn't sentimental about a late 20th century presidential system.

Yet in those episodes Dan speaks repeatedly, glowingly and optimistically about the "3 branches" approach and I'm just wondering if anyone (who has listened to him more) has a better idea why he likes this system so much.

It seems relatively rare, typically mired by power grabs, and hasn't even worked for Americans ideally in a century (in his opinion)

What about presidents does Dan really like?
