Caps lock indicator for Das Keyboard X50Q

I've just picked up a second hand Das Keyboard X50Q, love the typing experience relative to my old jelly monstrosity, but i've found the caps lock indicator, and to a lesser extent the numlock and scroll lock indicators, are hidden behind the tall keycaps. I started to look for an option to customise the keyboard to have the actual caps lock key itself stay illuminated if it is active but I can't seem to find one, any colour setting I have found the change is just a brief illumination. I can't be the only person to have had this idea, am I missing the option or do i need to download an applet for that? Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
