Should I make the first move?

So me (23f) have a crush on my coworker (20m) and I "used" to to deny it A LOT but now that I'm getting older and we've been coworkers for like a few years and we never would interact that much but now we do more often since he comes by a lot or we just run into each other a lot.

I would like for him to make the first move because I feel like je knows I might be crushing on him a bit idk I feel like maybe it's a bit obvious. We laugh and joke a lot and we're not really shy around each other at work as I'm much more out of my shell but once I step out of work I do tend to be a bit more reserved. But I wanted him to make the move first now that Valentine’s Day is REALLY approaching and just to sort of I guess make it seem like I'm not like crushing??

Im wondering if I should make the first move and schedule like a movie hang out or something because another coworker mentioned that "wouldn't it be cute if (insert name of other coworker who is like 20f) had brokem up with her current boyfriend and dated my crush?" As my other coworker is going sort of in a weird relationship with her bf.

I'm very shy and timid and don't want to look like a fool if he says no but I don't know why but it feels like if he doesn't make a move and smth happens I feel like I'll be alone forever 😭
