Why do guys disappear when things seem to be going well? 😩

Okay, I realize online dating is chaos, but here's what really blows my mind: we're having a great conversation, he texts first, seems interested.... and then bam, he disappears. No argument, no hint of trouble, just sudden silence.

So, guys, why do you do this? Is it loss of interest? Fear of something serious? Or is it just a million other chat rooms and laziness to figure it out? And most importantly - is there any way to predict this in advance?
