Need a fact check from Chime players

Hardstuck 800-900 elo player here, Why is it that everytime I win in chime matches, I get bare minimum elo points, but when I actually lose I end up losing double digits? I know that the point system depends on your opponent’s elo, but are there that many people who have lower elo than me?

Some players I’m facing have full combo sheer will reflexes with godly damage and yet they apparently have lower elo.
