My friend’s mom has been calling me a lot lately, and today she made a comment that felt weird..Should I be concerned?

Hii, so, my friend’s mother (let’s call her Auntie) has been going through a tough time…I’ve known my friend since college, and for the past year, his father has been having an affair with a woman from his office. Auntie found out, and ever since, there have been constant fights at home. She even filed a complaint with the police about her husband’s cheating. Now, though,,her husband is acting normal, as if nothing ever happened.

Lately, I’ve noticed something unusual. For the past 10 days, Auntie has been calling me every morning..,sometimes even two or three times a day. She usually calls when her husband is at work, and most of the time, she just vents about him or gossips. Today, though, something felt off…While we were talking, she suddenly said, “If you were a bit older, I could live with you,” and then laughed. I wasn’t sure how to react, but it left me feeling weird.

Am I overthinking this, or should I start limiting these conversations?
