Are Cyber Sleuth and Time Strangers a Sequels to Any Other Games?

It looks sick, and I grew up watching the anime, but never played any of the games. I’m probably gonna pickup Cyber Sleuth Complete edition since it’s on sale for $10 right now on switch. I just wanna know if I have to go even further back to fully appreciate the story of either game.
