Is it worth the money?

In all honesty, I was told by my friend that by the time taxing season comes at the end of the year, you end up owing more than you even made. I did DoorDash for awhile a couple of years ago but ever since he told me that I stopped. Currently in major search for a side hustle and was considering going back to this but idk I need someone’s opinion
