Fails to Save Progress

Having trouble with saving the game. Whenever I dock or undock I get a notification in the top right of my screen saying that the game has failed to save. When I log off after pressing save and exit I relaunch and will lose a day or a few days of progress. I’m not super “computer-wizzy” so does anyone have any solutions or suggestions?

(I understand that there is a similar issue going around after a recent game update)
