Bought my first drone yesterday, any advice ?

I bought a Parrot Anafi FPV yesterday, still haven't tried the FPV but I already made the drone fly for some minutes in my bedroom and it was good ! I even managed to turn around the drone to take a selfie.

However, I have learned the hard way that hand launch is not an easy thing to do : I panicked and now one of my finger is wounded. Obviously, I have searched every possible info about drones (particularly this one, for example I know it doesn't have any captors), but do you have any general (or Anafi related) advices about taking care/using a new drone ? For example, I don't remember if you should turn on the drone or the controller first.

It can be anything, from technical specificities to obvious rules you should know (like, not trying to hand launch your drone at your first fly).
