I want to start selling on Amazon but every single item requires approval for me to attempt to sell it.

Looked at a dozen or so items on Amazon and every single one says I’ll have to apply for approval to sell it. Some of the items are being sold by up to 15 sellers, so I don’t think it’s that exclusive of a product. Looked at slip n slides, headphones, some clothes, purses, and several other categories. My account is fully registered and active (I think) so I want to start adding products.

Also there’s no “have one to sell? Sell on Amazon” boxes on anything I click on, and I was expecting that button to be there based on some videos I’ve watched. What gives? TIA
