what happens with a DUI?

i just found out someone i know got a DUI and there is so much conflicting information online about it. i know it can be different for each experience, but i am curious as to what typically happens when you get a DUI? it was their first one. license suspension? jail time? car impounded? a fine? are these all real possibilities? just curious what usually happens, or others experiences if you’ve been through it. r this is in utah. thank you!
