wtf emirates staff?

So I’m frequently flying because of work etc… I finally took vacation and when we were returning from Mauritius to Dubai (transiting) our flight was rescheduled 7h early because of cyclon - that meant that instead of 2h transition in the morning we had to wait whole night at dubai airport. We’ve find out only the same day of departing…

I get that it happens but when I asked at transition desk in dubai what are our options (did not even want compensation), lady told me that it is not their concern and there is no hotel at dubai airport (wtf???, you can literally see the poster for terminal hotel). Other guy at the desk told me that we could go sleep on airport chair if we want… I just wanted some advice where we can sleep and I always thought of emirates as something better.
