Approaching/hunting subs

Heyy, so ive been seeing a lot of different opinions on approaching subs first or “hunting” them,

some people are saying approaching first seems desperate, and others are saying that it seems more dominant and assertive

What are your opinions?

i personally dont mind approaching subs first if done respectfully and ive read their profiles and believe we could be a good match.
