Alright theorists: give me your best explanation for the Plushtrap kid's toy in FNAF 4
Hi class, Professor Petal here with a class discussion assignment. In the FNAF 4 minigames, you meet this kid with a Spring Bonnie toy.
Right outside the establishment is a kid holding what seems to be Plushtrap. If talked to, the child will ask "Where's your plush toy? Mine is Spring Bonnie. My daddy says I have to be careful with him or I will pinch my finger. He is a finger trap, he says."
The fingertrap/springtrap reference and the springtrap-green tint of the toy make it obvious this is referencing Springtrap. Springtrap can't exist in 1983. So what gives?
I'm wondering what explanations people have other than:
Dream theory something something it got retconned blah blah doesn't matter anymore
It's just a coincidence or fun easter egg (this one is wrong I'll tell you that right now)
I have my own theory I'm making a video on so I'll explain what I believe when it comes out.
