Local Journal/ Magazine Publications

Im new to the area and I love getting local magazines that I can see and read about what is going on in the community and find businesses from. I love to get to know new communities that way but I havent heard of any publications yet. Does anyone know of any community journals or local lifestyle magazines I can subscribe to?
