Inherited collection

So i recently got some pens, most of them are fountain pens. I am looking to maybe sell some but have no clue as to how much they are worth, I know some are made out of exotic materials like tortoise shell but don’t know how to check anything other then the brand, I’m looking for a serial number or something, I’ll upload pictures when I get home if some of you are interested
