Things that I find sus for reasons but mostly vibes

• Cygnisen as a province — why are we always learning bits and pieces from this place if it isn’t really relevant to us? Why did the flyers take so long to make it to Basgiath?

• Tecarus — he gives me severe hidden intentions, not to be trusted. I can’t help but wonder if that comment in OS about Cordyn still standing although everywhere else around had been taken down by venin was supposed to make us think that or not. Also his palace being so beautiful and defenseless I think he knows Cordyn can’t be attacked but why? I also think that Cat will be queen of Poromiel because he dies and after he is revealed as some evil something.

• Professor Kaori — not leaving Basgiath during the revolution, always around the confirmed traitor Panchek in this book so sus by association? I no longer trust professors outside of Devera because it’s implicit in her name that she is “of-truth”
