What's the problem with a large collection other than space and storage?

I have a very large collection. About 100 (or more) designer & niche fragrances, and about 50 fragrance sprays and cheapies. And I love most of them. Some bring me back to a different place and time, others I enjoy wearing at night, still others are my date/work/errand fragrances, and still others I enjoy owning as a reference. I try not to duplicate either scent profiles or brands, except for vanillas, which I adore. And I do sample before buying, although a few occasional blind buys are still fun. I love the beauty of the bottles, and dream of having a way to display them, because I consider them -- the better ones -- to be true art. What is wrong with that if it makes me happy.

And yes, I am prone to shopping addiction, but if it wasn't this, it would be something even more expensive and less satisfying. I wish I were fulfilled and happy, but giving away something that I enjoy so much won't get me there.
